ROUTINE CHIROPODY
-
A 1/2 hour consultation to address problems such as corns, calluses, thickened nails etc. This is the most asked for treatment.
VERRUCA
-
A common problem particularly with children and young adults, although they can be present at any age. There are various methods of treatment. At Lapworth I use a Cryopen which produces Nitrous Oxide at a very low temperature to freeze the verruca.
-
There are also a range of ointments that can be applied if this method is more appropriate.
NAIL SURGERY
-
A permanent method of treating ingrown toe nails. A section of or the whole nail is removed. This procedure is carried out under local anesthetic.
BIO MECHANICS
-
I can supply a range of orthotic's to order, or 'off the shelf' orthotic's are available at the clinic.
HOT WAX FOOTBATH
-
Soothing, relaxing treatment following a chiropody appointment. The feet are dipped in warm wax and then wrapped in warm towels for approximately 25-30 mins. It provides deep heat to the joints and is particularly helpful in arthritic feet. This procedure needs to be booked at the time of chiropody appointment.
